German Intensive Course

Start your studies with 'DeutschPlus'!

During winter and summer term, we offer a preparatory German course at the level C1 which entitles international applicants to study at Brandenburg University of Applied Sciences.

The next course will start in the summer semester 2026.

Upon successful completion of the finals students are admitted to their particular study program at Brandenburg University without further application.

FAQ

Who?

International applicants with university entrance qualifications and B2-level in German.

Please note: Applicants need to pass the entrance test (German B2 level) in order to participate in the German course. Participation in the entrance test is free of charge.

Why?

Participants are properly enrolled at Brandenburg University during the intensive course

German at level DSH 2 and technical language as well as general study skills and competences - all in one course!

Please note: Applicants who need to apply for a visa should contact uni-assist as early as possible in order to arrive on time for the entrance test. Contact us in case of any problem. We will be happy to help.

How much?

Course fee

640 EUR (Classes and leisure time activities)

Examination fee

90 EUR (internal participants)

120 EUR (external participants)

In addition, participants need to pay the semester fee which includes the Deutschlandticket for local public transport all over Germany.

How do I apply?

Prospective students apply via uni-assist by January 31st, 2026 for the summer semester 2026.

What type of exam is it?

TH Brandenburg offers an examination at level C1 for participants in the 'DeutschPlus' course and for external participants. This is an internal examination for future students at TH Brandenburg. This exam is based on the official DSH exam and meets the general requirements. Official registration (HRK/FaDaF) is not possible due to the small location.
