How and when to apply

To do an exchange at Brandenburg University of Applied Sciencees you must be a student at one of our partner institutions. You will need to apply through the International Office of your home institution.

It is not possible to study at Brandenburg University of Applied Sciences as a free mover.


Language requirements

Most moduls are taught in German language. A B2-level is recommended in order to be able to understand the lectures. A small selection of modules is offered in English language. We also recommend B2-level here. You can find the expected list of English taught modules here (see module descriptions). Changes can still occur.

  • for the winter semester (September - February): 1st June
  • for the summer semester (March - July): 1st December

Once your application has been processed, you will be sent an official letter of acceptance.
