A semester abroad is well worth it: you'll never have met so many different people in such a short space of time, your language skills will improve all by themselves, and you'll return with experiences and insights you would never have gained at home.
Those who have already worked internationally during their studies demonstrate what else they have to offer in addition to their professional qualifications: initiative, mobility, communication skills, flexibility and curiosity – all qualities that are becoming increasingly important in a globalised economy.
Start planning early (ideally about a year in advance), but stays abroad are also possible at short notice.

What would you prefer: Mexico or Australia? Get an overview of the numerous partner universities of the Brandenburg University of Applied Sciences in Europe and overseas. You can also benefit from the experiences of your fellow students who have already been there.

A summer or winter school combines pleasure (a break from lectures) with practical benefits (learning), but does not necessarily have anything to do with the season. Are you interested? Then take a look for yourself.

The ‘Promos’ scholarship programme funds internships and study visits abroad lasting up to six months, as well as summer/winter schools abroad. In addition, there are other funding opportunities for both internships and study visits abroad.
